Every food establishment in Dubai is inspected by the Dubai Municipality Food Safety Department and given a grade from A down to F. We hold Grade A — Gold, the highest there is.
The gold matters, and it is the part worth explaining. A first Grade A earns a green card. The gold card is awarded only once an establishment has held Grade A across consecutive inspections — so it records not just one good inspection, but the same standard kept up over time. Grade A also means we are inspected on the longest cycle Dubai Municipality operates.
The grade belongs to the establishment rather than the company, and it reflects the most recent inspection — so rather than rely on a certificate we chose to publish, you can look up the current grade yourself in the Dubai Municipality app, under inquiry about a food establishment. Search for Prime Royal Restaurant and Cafe L.L.C. or the establishment number 1230447.
HACCP certification
Pechka operates under a HACCP-based food safety management system. HACCP — Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points — is an internationally recognised approach to identifying, assessing and controlling food-safety risks throughout preparation and production.
Our certificate is issued by the United Registrar of Systems against the Codex Alimentarius requirements, under certificate number 140776/A/0001/EI/En, and covers receiving, storage, preparation, cooking, cooling, baking, serving and distribution of food (Food Category E). It runs to 4 May 2028.
Halal ingredients
- The ingredients we buy are Halal, sourced from suppliers who hold their own Halal certification and provide us with those certificates.
- Our kitchens handle no pork, no lard and no alcohol. They are not ingredients we purchase at all, so there is nothing of the kind in our preparation to keep apart from everything else.
If you would like to check a particular dish or ingredient before ordering, please contact us and we will confirm its sourcing for you.
Recognition
Pechka was named winner of the Best in Russian category by Deliveroo. That one came from our customers, and we are glad of it.
Our approach to food safety
Responsible food handling
Our teams follow established hygiene and food-handling procedures throughout preparation and service. Raw and ready-to-eat foods are handled separately where required, and work surfaces, utensils and equipment are cleaned and sanitised to defined schedules.
Storage and temperature control
Chilled, frozen and ambient products are stored under appropriate conditions, with temperatures monitored at receiving, storage, preparation, holding and dispatch. Products are labelled, dated and rotated to support freshness, traceability and safe use.
Ingredient and supplier standards
We work with approved suppliers expected to meet applicable quality, food-safety and regulatory requirements. Deliveries are checked on receipt, and products that do not meet our acceptance standards are rejected.
Staff training
Employees involved in food preparation and handling are trained for their responsibilities, covering personal hygiene, safe food handling, cleaning and sanitisation, temperature control, allergen awareness and preventing cross-contamination.
Quality control
Food-safety and quality checks are carried out at key stages of receiving, preparation, production, storage and dispatch, supporting consistency, traceability and compliance with our internal standards.
Calories and nutrition
Where we hold figures for a dish, its calories are shown against it — on the menu, on the dish itself, on each option you can add, and as a total for your order in the cart. Every figure is for the portion as sold rather than per 100g, so it is the number for the slice, cup or box you receive.
They are calculated from the recipes held in the kitchen system that runs our branches, and are recalculated when a recipe changes. Calories are for the portion as sold and come from our standard recipes, so they are an approximation. Preparation, suppliers and portion sizes move them, and a figure changes whenever a recipe does. Where a dish has no figures we show none rather than a guess. Ask any branch for the full nutrition breakdown of a dish.
2,000 calories a day is used for general nutrition advice, but calorie needs vary.
Allergens and dietary requirements
We use a wide range of ingredients across our kitchens, including common allergens. If you have a food allergy or a dietary requirement, please review the product information on the item before ordering, and add a note to your order or contact us if anything is unclear.
Our teams follow procedures intended to reduce the risk of cross-contact. However, our kitchens handle multiple ingredients side by side, and we cannot guarantee that any dish is completely free from traces of allergens.
Certificates are issued to Prime Royal Restaurant and Cafe L.L.C.. Scope and validity are stated on each certificate; where a scope limits what is covered, the certificate governs.
